What Level are you?
We’ve all got to start somewhere. At HBFC we break our classes and workshops into different levels. This will help you identify where you are and what class would be a perfect fit for you! Please check out the descriptions below and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Level 1 (Beginner)
You’re just getting started! You want to know the ins and outs of your craft and want to excel in every aspect (writing, directing, lighting, theory and application). These courses are designed for creatives that want to understand the basics of their craft and go to the next level of a completed project.

Level 2 (Intermediate)
You’ve created some things (completed a screenplay, a short film, etc…) and you have a desire to up your game. Whether that’s working with a professional crew, getting yourself out there as a Director, or landing a job, these next level of classes and workshops will help you fine tune your craft to take the leap as a working creative.

Level 3 (Advanced)
Professional level workshops designed for you to make the ultimate leap full time. You have a crew, you have actors, you’ve completed multiple projects but you just need that final push to make it more. With various panels, talks and workshops with industry professionals, this level of artistic education is for you to put the final touches on your craft to go out there and create MAGIC.
